Hey guys! I just wanted to let everyone know the mistake I made about a week ago. I`m growing my hair out from a chin lenght bob. Measuring from my hairline, it measures around 17 1/2" or so. My hair is thin and I wear it straight. Well, I decided (stupidly) that I needed more layers. I had some long layers before. Anyway, I went to my hairdresser and asked for the "Rachel Shag", took a picture and everything. Well, I got it and I HATE it!! :( With the layers, the top looks fuller, however the longer layers look thin and in my opinion stringy. I should have known better than to do it, but impulse took over. I guess it won`t last too long.... a couple of months. The only good news about it is that it`s only been 9 days and I can already tell a slight difference in how it lays (getting better, slowly but surely). I`ll just keep popping vitamins hoping that my hair takes off like a weed.

Hey Becky! Sorry you don`t like your new cut :( Maybe if you play around with it some you can find a new style that`ll hold you over `till it grows back... sometimes you can surprise yourself! Good luck to ya!

Thanks Ingrid for your support. I think I`ll be ok for the next few months. I colored my hair a little lighter, which I hadn`t done in over a year. That helped with the looks a little - at least I think so. I did have a good hair day today so it may not be all bad.... I just have to quit having impulses. :(

I bet it looks great and only you thinks it looks stringy (not that you are not the most important) just that I`m sure other people are not as critical as you are... you could always post pic for us to see...

Thanks Hal! I might post a pic, not sure. I`m generally not a photogenic person, but I recently got a digital camera so I`ll see what I can do. ;)
