Hi everyone!Smile  I bought some tease hair in bodywave, color 2... and I had to take it out after a little more than a week! It was tangling so badly that when I put it in a ponytail it turned into a huge ball of tangles. I didn't dye it or anything and I use pureology products.. maybe I got a bad batch? Anways I just thought this might be helpful to anyone considering buying Tease hairTongue

I'm sorry to hear that, what I've experienced is that the hair matts  very easily even though I also used the Pureology collection. I've purchased 613, 27, and even the color #30 faded after two washes.

I had this happen with some Bohyme I bought from them, sometimes it just happens I guess.

I think overall Tease hair gets bad reviews.

Just to update you guys  (sorry, been away for a bit)...
After some initial tangling trouble with my color #4 Tease i-tip microlink extensions (installed April 5th), I found that doing a SUPER good condition on them, as putting in TONS of leave-in conditioner afterwards, they really improved.  I wound up wearing them for almost 3 months....I just took them out this past weekend.  They really weren't too bad, barely shed, and with the right conditioning didn't tangle badly at all.

What I would also suggest (if the hair you have is a darker color - I definetly wouldn't tell anyone with blonde hair to try this) but there is this stuff called cassia obovata.  It is basically "clear" henna.  I used it about once every 4 weeks on my extensions and it REALLY helped.  It sort of renewed the shine and gave a healthy look to them.  Not to mention really cut down on tangles.  I had a few pieces of blonde #18/22 in as highlights and I did notice that the cassia obovata made them a touch darker.  This is why I wouldn't suggest it on blonde hair.

Don't know if that helps, but you might want to give it a shot...it's always such a disappointment when your install goes yucky Cry  but maybe not all is lost....
Steph
