I color my own hair and have recently been purchasing the 'stuff' from Sallys to save some $$$$$. I have 20 vol. creme developer (L'Oreal) and a bottle of L'Oreal Excellence toner (9BB) but I am not sure of the amounts needed for mixing. The bottle of toner measures 2 fl. oz, but how much developer do I mix with this? Is this a 1:1 ratio, 2:1, I guess I need to know the ratio of toner vs. developer. Can anyone help?
Thanks!

HI Idk if yours came with a box but my guess would be 1:1 One part Loreal Excellence to One part Oreor Creme Developer 30 or 20 vol... since it isn't an HIGH LIFT color which would be 1:2.
It is odd that it doesn't say on the box, tube, bottle! Sometimes the inside flaps on containers say it.
:)
2 fl oz of color to 2 fl oz of developer.

Thanks! I figured it should be a 1:1 mix. I thought it was odd too that there were no mixing instructions but maybe it was assumed the user would know how to mix!!! Oh well, I will try a 1:1 and see if that looks right b4 I apply it. Thanks again for the reply!

I think the best way to "know" is to try little swatches of your hair if possible to see how it feels & look with 30 or 20 too.
