I am going to be installing my own hair extensions soon. I've been wearing clip ins that I made myself for a few months, but I don't like the feel of the clips and installing every day is a pain. What kind of glue is the best for fine hair? I hear a lot about the LG method, but how hard is it to remove, and how much damage does it cause to your hair? I have also been considering the tape method, but from what I have heard it isn't as long lasting, and I would probably have to use glue with it anyway. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have an install of both right now, and it works great!
I use tape and LG (the new kind) on the same weft.

I use both too, it works great. I have a layer of tape and then LG the weft above it, repeat! It holds wonderfully and I don't have a problem with the tapes slipping at all, they are very secure after several washes.

I would recommed the liquid gold weft bond system. lasts ages with alittle maintainence, to remove you must use liquid gold bond dissolver. Nothing else will remove this glue.

Well...that's not exactly true! You can use 100% acetone and it comes off well. I also use Goo Gone to get it out along with 99% alcohol and olive oil.

Love clip-ins and tape!

The goo gone "Gel" removes LG like a DREAM! Tape too :D Much better than the regular goo-gone, IMO.
