She's on "Eureka" on the SciFi Channel (season premiere tonight). She was also in "I Am Legend" with Will Smith; she's dated Matthew McConaughey and is married to Dondre Whitfield. She's half Cherokee and half caucasion. Here's the publicity photo from the show's website:
