Hi guys,

So.. I'm a guy with medium/long hair (sides are chin length, back longer, and a swept fringe).  It can grow a little thick, but not too bad.

Whenever I wash it, I always struggle with the drying process.  If I can, I'll leave it to dry naturally and perhaps give it a short, calm blow with the dryer just to help it along a bit.  It tends to be managable from the roots down to in line with the bottom of my ear, but then it just goes wild!  I use straighteners (with heat protective spray) but it doesn't take long before the tips begin to curl up again.  It's only after a day or so (having repeated the straightening process) that it remains in that manner.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any products/tips which would help keep it straight right after it's been dried?  It also tends to go a little frizzy, which again, only calms down after a day or so of it being washed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm off to Australia in 9 weeks time and don't much fancy the thought of battling with my locks in that kinda heat!

Paul.

Mmmmm. My hair also tends to be a little wild the day I wash it and let it dry naturaly. I've tried several different anti-frizz products and recently have been using either Africa's Best Herbal Oil or Coconut oil as an anti-frizz product. I just use a very small amount to smooth things over. I also tend to comb through my hair several times at it dries so that its not drying with tangles in it. I don't know if that helps at all but I hope it does.

I air-dry whenever possible.
But why would having curly long hair be displeasing? I have seen some gorgeous handsome men with long curly hair.
