ok...the past like 5 months i have been dealing with this massive(ok maybe not that big) patch of hair that likes to stand up on end when my hair is parted.
drives me crazy...
its like new growth but when you look at it it seems it would be long enough to lay FLAT...
i have used hairspray and that wax junk (which makes my flat lifeless hair look worse..lol)..
is there anything that i can do to help it lay flat without worrying of breaking it because of hairspray? Any way to maybe train it to stay down?
any advice would be greatful...hehe! Tali

Tali; Try parting your hair in a different spot, pull some hair over the top of it. Until it is long enough to weight itself down. Sounds like breakage to me??:(

Weird. Where is this growth? Could it be a colic? How long is the hair around it? Could it be cut short to "fit" in or not be as noticeable? I had a section of hair that started to grow in the opposite direction of what it normally did...I tried to style my hair to incorporate it rather than fight it (losing battle)...now the hair is back to normal.

my hair length is almost to my shoulders. I have real fine hair. When i part it down the middle its on the right side and its REALLY noticeable. but when i go in for a trim and they blow dry it for me its fine, nothing as bad as what happens at home..lol!
thanks for the suggestions..i`ll try them...and the battle continues...

I have a bad habit of pulling my hair. The new growth looks just like what you just described. Like it was electrecuted. It looked ugly. I still don't know what to do about them.
