Has anyone used this in human hair?  I have a couple of the synthetic pieces and really like them. They are assisting with my grow-out of a disasterous short cut. Cry They do not last though and certainly are not for everyday wear.

I am skeptical of the quality of the JS human hair after washing.

I have previously worn clipins that I make that are amazing quality and last 2 + years with every day wear and styling etc. My hair is too short right now though, to have these blend in. It will be at least until December/January...maybe longer.

I need a cap thing right now

I wanted to know any thoughts on the JS H pieces before ordering.

PS: I know the caps are kinda big, but I can work with that to disguise my horrible short hair.

Julie: make your own JS hairpiece! If you made your own clip-ins, then you can make that piece, no problem. You can use way better hair than she uses too! I have heard pretty decent things about the human hair JS pieces, but I don't think they are worth the high cost! I have made similar 1/2 wig pieces like that by using a weave net and sewing hair to it. The great thing is, you can have it as long or short as you like and can cut layers into it before you attach it!

Hi! This is my first post on this forum, although I've been lurking and reading for a few weeks now! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I made the mistake of buying a Jessica Simpson human hair piece and the hair quality is absolutely terrible! It was beautiful when I first opened it and I wore it about 5 times before it started to knot and tangle horribly. I then washed it thinking maybe that might help, but it got worse. I tried many many products on it including silicone serums and although the silicone serums help it, it still knots up withing minutes of trying to wear it. I have since purchased another brand of one-piece extensions and the hair quality is remy and doesn't tangle at all, even after washing several times. I should have suspected when the JS hair isn't advertised as remy I guess. But you'd think for the price it's be good stuff. By the way, it was a blonde color, maybe the darker ones would be better. but somehow I doubt it. I'm pretty new to extensions and still have lots to learn. I hope that helps you also.

What is the brand you bought? I am glad I did not buy the JS human hair piece. I am skeptical of the quality.
I have bene using synthetic, but that will notlast and is certainly nto for every way wear, plus I do not like the "wiggy" look.
My remy human hair I use in my own extensions is so much better.

Cutting my hair has been such a pain !

Hi! the one piece that I bought in remy hair was from glamourextensions, I got it on e-bay, but she has a website also. I think the hair is a very nice remy quality, the only thing I didn't care for was the wefts seem to shed an awful lot, but I fixed that with some fabric sealer I got from Jo-anne fabrics. The piece that fits on your head was also too long, (same as the JS hairpiece) but I fixed that by trimming off the very bottom part. There's almost too much hair on these pieces for me anyway, so that only helped it fit me better. I had also considered buying some lace and making  my own one piece with good quality hair, but I haven't gotten around to it. It's a really good idea, though.

This is something like I use, although I buy mine off Ebay. You can get them pretty cheap. You just cut them in a cap shape or whatever shape you wish that suits you and start sewing wefts on from the bottom to the top. Attach your clips after and you're ready to go!!!It's kind of fun to do as a home project too.Big%20smile
