My hair is black and is going grey, I bought medium brown hair dye and the result was the hair that was black was a nice dark brown but the grey hairs turned a light blondish brown color and look un natural. I would like advice on how to get my grey hairs the same color as the rest of my hair. Thanks!

Iris, hi....your in luck, with dark hair you can use a deposit only color.(semi or demi permanent) It may not cover all of your grey but it is worth a try in a dark brown color. My first reccomendation is A Salon Colorist and be clear that you do not want permanent color. (the 20 vol. peroxide changes your natural color too much). IT&LY Colors` Delayton is a beautiful shiny demi-perm color...even Redken Shades EQ might work for you.
If you are determined to do it yourself, Clairol`s Natural Instincts is worth a try, make sure the color is dark enough so you have a heavy Die Load.
