Hello, I'm new here at HB. I was just wondering if any one know whats the best relaxer to use for hair that is highlighted? I have been using Affirm now for a couple of years but is afraid to use it because of my highlights in my hair. I just had my hair highlighted for the very first time. I have heard about all the horror story of people http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=62222&PID=492189# - hair color changing after they have applied the relaxer on there highlighted hair. Please help if you now the answer to this question. Help
Thank you all!

I use Mizani products; it is gentle, yet it provides great straightening and durablility. I use it more for a maintenance thing, than an actual straightner; i just comb the relaxer through my hair and wash out after like 10 mins, but my family uses this for their color-treated hair and it provides wonderful results.
