What's great about it? Looks like a middle aged "bouffant" type do.

She's a natural redhead and pale. She didn't look too great when she was dyed brunette.

How much of this is actually Nicola's hair? Can't take my eyes off her.

At what point can we just start a new thread? Is there a subject line shortage I'm unaware of?
My apologies for being snarky, but it's somewaht annoying to see topics like this one or the Amy Adams one come up, only to see the cuts happened 6 years ago. I know I for one would be completely okay with "Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud has really long hair now."

OK, to go very OT...there is a fine line between starting a new thread or posting to an old thread.
I don't mind so much one way or the other, but typically, I will use an old thread if the pic I post relates to the old thread. For instance, if an actress cut her hair, and 3 years later it's still short, then I'll use the old thread. On the other hand, if the last thread is over a year old, and she looks very different, I'll start a new thread.
It's quibbling, and again, I don't mind one way or the other. I can understand why some want to use the old threads, as they like to see the person over time. I think of it as personal preference.

My suggestion: If you look and find an old thread, it's relevant, and the title of the thread isn't misleading, resurrect it. If it's relevant, but the title IS misleading, start a new thread and copy in a link to the old thread.
Otherwise, just start a new one.
As usual, JF

I don't post very often. Both sides have merit. I feel, however, that realistically threads should be retired after a period of time. Titles sometime turn misleading when ENTIRE years go by.
Kramer is a staunch supporter of hair chronologies. There is value in them. He also has (nearly) the same taste in hair as I do - long, long, long, and no bangs, and gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!
So maybe a solution. Keep the threads simple...just the celebrity's name. That way we get the hair histories w/out the misleading (and/or outdated) info.
Example: Lina Sandberg (not Lina Sandberg with straight, long hair). lol. PS she's a model w/out an HB thread

| Yep. I almost always -- maybe exclusively -- post just the name in the title box. Would you follow a link to a more descriptive, no longer relative thread? I'm not sure I would even notice it. Careful comparing yourself to me, though, TDurden2. A couple of us longhair fanatics are often targeted by our friends here. And for the record, I don't mind bangs, especially those long hang-in-the-eyes bangs. I'll be looking for Lina Sandberg pics right after this. Thanks!
