Has anyone heard of or tried a hair glossing service that you can get done at salons? It's supposed to make your hair shiny and frizz free, or something like that and I was windering if anyone knows anythings about it. DOes it actually work; is it effective? Also, how expensive is it? Any comments would be appreciatated!

I have heard of it, but never tried it. There is something called Clairol Jazzing, you can get it at Sally Beauty Supply. Go here: http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/product.asp?pf%5Fid=320900&dept%5Fid=1450 - http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/product.asp?pf%5Fid=320900&dept%5Fid=1450
find reviews on it here: http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemID=3800/Jazzing/Clairol/Treatments/ - http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemID=3800/Jazzing/Clairol/Treatments/
You might want to try the "clear" and use heat

I have had the Redken Shades EQ Gloss, which I think is just a deposit-only color service in the color "clear". It is a gorgeous product. My hair always appeared to be in better condition after this treatment--shinier, softer, silkier and overall lovely.

It costs the same as a regular color service (and that's double for us long, thick-haired folks), but it's worth it. I had great results.

Shades EQ is wonderful as a sealer or glossing treatment. The newest one out though is Matrix, Color Sync...Very shiney, seamless. Color just keeps getting better and better.l

both are, no ammonia Demi-permanent color.

Yes, I agree. Redken shades in clear is really great.

Another thing to try along with it is Modern Elixers Styling Serum mixed with alittle Paul Mitchell Glossing Drops. This gives a really knock out shine!!
