My girlfriend is talking of cutting her hair short. It is now 2-3 inches below her shoulders. It is very thick, dark colored and has a curly\wavy texture. She wants to cut it and highlight it but is unsure of what she wants. Can you help her out by posting some suggestions and pictures. She is a little nervous to cut her hair short so if you have any stories feel free to post those as well. She is talking of cutting it within the next couple of weeks so please act fast. |

Hi She should check out hair sytle magazines or have a consoltation before she makes the big cut. Definitely should look at as many hair style magazines as possible that show her type of hair. Hope this helps.

| She has looked through some magazines but nothing is catching her eye. If you could post some pics of styles between shoulder and jaw length for thick curly/wavy hair. She is planning on cutting it later this week so please hurry!!!! |

This site actually has a good style locator and you can even narrow the search by face shape and length. There is also http://www.hairdos.com/frameset.htm. - http://www.hairdos.com/frameset.htm. | She has set a date. She will be cutting her hair on the 25th. She has also decide she wants to cut her hair as short as possible but still be able to pull it back. So if you could send some pictures of this type of hair style that would be great. |
