| Hi Everyone! Im new here and have a few questions,,,,I am doing an install on Monday and was currious as to how much hair you think i should use for a short bob. It is chin length. I know im pushing it and testing my skills but Im thinking 6 bundles. about 4.5 oz....any suggestions or is there a "rule of thumb?" you could share with me> Thanks so much |

I use a different amount of hair with weft vs strands, sounds like youre using strands? It also matters how long the strands are, 4.5 oz of 8" will be a lot more than 4.5oz of 18". I always use more strand oz than weft oz. ------------- ^..^ |

Thank you all. I have 150 strands that are .8 grams per strand which was 6 bundles. I will post a before and after photo on Tuesday.Thanks so much for the warm welcomes and the helpful suggestions.

OK IM DONEEE I only used 6 bundles of hair and may end up adding a little more to her sides. It took five hours and i didnt finish till 11:30 last night so I wasnt seeing clearly.;p; here are her before and after pics. This was very challenging for me because her hair was sooo short in the back. I want to see it after she washes is though before I go adding more.

Wow! Do mine. I've always had a bob top haircut when i got dremacathcers and so caps and they both looked awful on me. took them out weeks later and wasted so much moeny.
wefts look so much better on me/ i used cheap human hair from sallys and glued the weft in and it looked fine. havent tried it with my hair do so short tho
