| I need some help. I have been highlighting my hair for years now ( my natural color is brown). I had my roots touched up yesterday @ a professional hair salon. The only problem is my hair turned out a reddish-light brown color with a few strands of blonde. The problem is I wanted it to be blonder than it is. I think the problem is the hairstylist left the toner on too long which toned the color down too much. My question is is there any way I can fix this myself without having to drive an hour to have the salon redo it? Any suggestions would be AWESOME. Thanks!! |

The toner the hairstylist used will fade in time, after about 3 or 4 washes, or you could use a purple/violet shampoo to brighten your hi lights.

Also, do a few clarifying shampoos, then deep condition. Heavy conditioning also helps to push out some of the dyes on the hair! ------------- Love clip-ins and tape! |
