How would one clean a metal bristle hairbrush ? The bristles have this coating of dust or . . something wrapped around them and I can't get the stupid thing clean. This is driving me nuts. Thanks to anyone who has any suggestions.

Try soaking it in very hot water with some baking soda mixed in. After about an hour, use a terry cloth towel and rub the bristles util it is removed. This is how I clean my brushes in the salon. ------------- I am a professional Hairstylist/Haircolorist with 19 years experience. I have traveled all over the country for my advanced education.
