I just got a bottle of olive oil for my hair and I used it as the instructions on the bottle. "put a small amount in hands rub together and apply through hair, style and normal" and after I did that my hair was like it had glue in it, I only used a little. I did this after it was dried. Clearly, I don't think i know how to use oils or maybe taking care of my hair. Any tips as to how to use it?

Male with medium hair and uses emu shampoo and conditioner then straight iron.

Only use it on wet hair,emulsify a small amount through hair, then shampoo out(as can leave a smell). No need for conditioner. then dry style as normal.
 
Olive oil gives moister to dried out hair.
