and I noticed that she applyed fray block to the lace, does anyone else do this?

yes it helps to stop the fraying of the lace.. i use fray block NOT FRAY CHECK b/c it turns white.. what i do is use a very small amount rub it in between my fingers and then rub it along the edges of the lace.. not on the flat side, on the edges..

joann fabric's any fabric store should have it....
