hi all,
Can I apply Olive oil at night and sleep?
I heard that we should not sleep with wet hair?
Is this true?

Regards,
rampal

sleeping with olive oil is not really the same as having wet hair, but it might tangle your hair just the same.Plus it might get all over your pillows and sheets.I would say if it doesnt bother you,it's up to you.Maybe you could try covering it with a cap of some kind.

I put coconut oil on my hair then braid it. I also put a towel on my pillow. I do this about once a month and have wonderful results.

hi rampal, i really see nothing wrong with sleeping with oily hair, of course you should find a way to keep your pillows intact. maybe you can wrap your hair with something or simply put somehing over your pillow, like a towel. you can also tie your hair if you dont want to get it messy. one thing i can tell you is that this is a very powerful treatment, the longer you have it on your hair, the better. good luck !!! :P

Hi Sladie,
                Thanks for reply.

Would it be better if we do it daily?

no, you see im not a specialist but im pretty sure that  it will be waaaaaay too much. it will make your hair really really oily and you dont want that. depending on your hair type, i would recomment once every one or two weeks, and after a couple of times once a month. what specifically is your hair type?

Hi Sladie,

Could you suggest few methods of getting my hair silky ?

Ok, well, regarding the silky texture, lets see first what happens with the oil I say. Have you tried it yet? And if so, how many times/how often ?

Since I see that you are thinking oils, I went and did a little check on which oils are best for hair. And so they are: almond oil, shea butter, jojoba oil. You can buy the almond oil from the grocery store but im not sure about the other ones. What you can do is mix them altogether and sleep with it. That would be amazing :)))))))))))

hi Sladie,

I used olive oil and almond oil.But not often, once in month.

Yaa I didn't find jojoba oil and shea butter.

Should I use them daily night?
