THanks to anyone who takes the time to read this and help me!

I have an event tomorrow and just got my extensions in tonight, so I am going to do an install.

I got BOHYME and ordered 14/22, and the 14 is too brown---way too brown.  It looked light a dark blonde in the picture!

So, I need to lighten it, and fast!  I tried using bleach and mixing with a 40vol. dev. and nothing happened!  How long do i need to leave it on for?  I left it on for less then 20 mins.

Will it lighten?  Would it be better if i tried to dye over it with a blonde dye opposed to bleaching?

Please help!

You'll risk ruining the entire purchase of hair if you try to bleach it. Chances are it might turn grey or violet on you.

My advice - head to the nearest Sally's and buy a weft for the event tomorrow. You can take it out when it starts to turn on ya (which probably won't take that long). Save that expensive Bohyme from possible ruin. If you haven't manipulated it or removed the tags, you may be able to return it for the right color. Granted, you won't have it in time for tomorrow but you can use it later.

If you have a small amount of hair in your stash that matches your color, use that for the top layers and install the darker Bohyme on the bottom. I'm not sure how much of a contrast this Bohyme is to your own hair or how comfortable you are with darker lowlights but sometimes these dark/light contrasting color installs look pretty darn good.

Good luck!

Thanks amm!

I have decided to go with your second suggestion.  I was planning on darkening the under layers of my hair for this install to begin with, so now I will just add in these pieces and have the lowlights.  I still have blonde hair from my previous install that I can re-use because it is in great shape.  I've already taken it out of the wrapper, removed tags, etc, lol.  so i am stuck with it but am hoping i can make it work out!

thanks again, i really appreicate your response!
