I'm new..

Ok so I cut my hair like in the middle of october after I grew it for almost 7 years.. & I've been going hard reading everything in this forum, all the methods and what not and my waves are slightly showing here and there..

My hair got like two different textures, like its soft on top and around the crown and it gets curlier (nappy) when it goes toward the hairline.. I guess it cause my grandfather got like indian people hair or w/e..

So yea.. its been growing from a regular caesar since like mid october and I got some waves showing.. I know yall have advice..

& I've been using the H2O method only and a soft brush only and recently just to make it look a lil more nice I used that light pomade the s-curl 360 style that washes out easy & I du rag every night..

I'm waiting for the top to curl a little bit more so I can wave cause its too straight and I dont feel like doing all that chrisdog method stuff.. I'm planning to wolf for like another month or w/e..

& sorry for the crappy pics, its from my phone.. and yea I know I'm going to get a shape up..

so please hit me with them tips, advice and feedback!!

I see that your waves are forming, I would stay away from that light S-Curl pomade your using and invest in some Carrot Creme since it softens your hair a little bit more over time, and the key to having good waves is to brush like a maniac when you are starting out. Brushing your hair while taking a shower under warm water makes your hair lay down better as well. If you have any more questions post them hair and I will try to answer accordingly.

Hard brush is a good way to go but always have a soft brush as well because it is a good finishing brush and when you take off your wave cap your waves look much better brushin with a soft than it would with a hard, sorry for the lateness.

along with the CC try the deep conditioner also... at first i used a leave in conditioner to help soften hair all over then the next mourning i would rinse hair and apply CC
