This is true, the thing that gets you waves is brushing, as long as you are consistent with your brushing then your waves should start to show in 3-6 weeks with products or no products. The products kinda gives your waves that finishing touch to make it stand out a little bit more too, and most products actually help keep your hair healthy, which is why I recommend at least using one product and sticking with out all the way through. -------------

word to what jamaicakid said.. i tried the pomade or w/e but it aint do much so i just stood for the water and a brush.. surprisingly thats all you really need.. |

perhaps, can't be sure bout the hot water thing, but in any case might as well just stick to warm, I wouldn't wash my hair in what I consider hot water anyway (the term simply hot is somewhat vague...)
