Hi all. I have very dark brown hair, and I've got my share of grays, and well, I hate it!
I get my hair colored every 4-5 weeks - which is VERY pricey, and the color starts to fade and wash out after only 10 days. It is so frustrating.
I have tried to color my hair myself to save money, but the drugstore stuff hardly even covers the grays at all. I am lucky if I get a few days out of it.
I use color safe shampoo.
Any tips?
Thanks!

You could have resistant Grey hair, which is why the colour isn't grabbing onto the grey hair, and would need to be pre softened by your hairdresser. Also what colour products is your hairdresser using, is it a semi colour, demi colour or permanent?

If you have resistant hair, drugstore brands wont cover your grey
