Looks like Eva Longoria missed her long hair. So did I and, I'll bet, many of her other fans.

whats the point in having bad long hair as opposed to good short hair? I for one dont see the logic. Probably for a show anyways.

The Ken Paves thing makes a lot of sense because he always seems to do crappy shorter haircuts(no offense to his fans on the board/Karen).

It just seems like his passion is long hair and extensions.  When Jessica Simpson kept experimenting with short hair it was bland to the point of being terrible.  I have never liked Longoria with shorter hair but always thought that if she was going to cut it off she may as well do something interesting.

I hope she is letting it grow out. I didn't like the short cut.

I don't know how many of you watch "Desperate Housewives" on ABC in the USA, but on the last show, Eva's character Gabrielle was fretting about how she had let herself go, pointing to being out of shape and crappy hair as examples. (Her character's husband Carlos has been blind and she was worried about what he'll think if an operation can miraculously return his sight.) Anyway, maybe they're going to give Gabby long hair again. Of course, these episodes are generally taped way in advance, aren't they?

"Crappy", Kathryn, is in the eye of the beholder. So is "good". Big%20smile
I think with Eva, you could staple a horses mane to her head, and that would still be far and away better than any of the styles she's sported since cutting her hair shorter. Imo, it was a bad cut, with worse styling(99% of the time).

A couple days ago, I saw either a promo, or a flash clip as I flipped through stations, but in it, Eva's haircut was being insulted by some guy on the show.  Maybe the real Eva took it to heart. It was rude, frankly, even on TV. I hate most current shows, anyway.
I thought that the reason given for her chop was that the new season leaps forward several years, and I surmised that ALL the characters would experience major hair shortenings. I guess that Eva was the only one who followed the script. Lucky for the male viewer, I suppose. All right, maybe there are two or three guys watching, in households with only one television.  Confused Bob
