My lace front is starting to become dry and I've only had it for a week, what oils are safe for it?

i listed some hair oils good for lf's hair, mostly are used by indian women in the newbie thread.. don't go crazy on the base tho you can loose the knots..

I tried Olive oil glossing polisher as well as products by fantasia but it didn't work on my kinky straight unit. It just made it worse. I tried foam wrap lotion and liquid shine both by Prestige from Ms Lola, and it works for my units.
