here's a cool blog post about "formal hair" that includes styles worn by Ashanti and Kim Kardashian as well as non-celebs.  the odd thing is that of all the hair featured, Ashanti and Kim Kardashian have extremely similar styles, which are much more sleek than all the other 'dos shown.

Agreed, Violet. Pretending I don't know those two stars (and even if I did) I'd pick their updos as easily the blandest. Too bad, and a little baffling, as each one has great hair when it's not pasted helplessly to her head.
