Hi Lovelies....

I posted a few weeks ago but I didn't really get an exact answer. I don't think I asked my question to the T either so it's probabaly my fault LOL.

I have natural dark chocolate like brown hair. I've been very, very blonde before thanks to highlights. I used to do a double process but we stopped that as I guess the toner lightened my roots. I made the mistake of bleaching my hair. It wasn't done right and regardless, my hair wasn't able to handle it. Now my hair has all grown out and is healthy again.

I did a series of a few color sessions then followed by glazes. Now I'm back to doing highlights. Unfortunately (although it does look nice) it's not even all over. It doesn't look bad just very mixed Wink. My question is this.. will it ever be possible for me to have just one blonde color? i deff want some highlights to brighten it up but really I just want to be able to go every four weeks for just roots. And not pay $145.00!!!!!

I was at this same stage. I foiled my entire head with bleach and i get my roots touched up every 4 weeks with a hilift color.

Wow! How much did that cost? I was thinking of doing that but is it too damaging? I mean.. a regular "full head" of highlights never damages my hair but I dunno. And my hair is a few different colors since I'm still in the process so I don't know if an entire complete head would even work?

I got lucky, i work at a salon and my color is free. We usually just tone the color is it gets too gold.

Lucky you!! Did it do any damage? What is your natural hair color?

Well, my hair isn't too damaged. It's been worse! It's at about an 11NA ith 5BG lowlights right now, and my natural color is about a 6A. It's a work in progress. It was platinum blonde for a long time, then I had it at a 5BG all over ( a recent break up caused that change!) Then I went to a 4G and we started lifting the dark out gradually. I actually have great hair for all the horrible chemical processing I do to it!
