So about a year ago I was here and got some pretty good advice on what to do with my hair. I got it cut from very long to shoulder length with layers and it came out pretty nice, but since then for various personal reasons I've neglected getting it cut and my hair is down to my mid-back again Shocked .

I'm considering going shorter this time but I'm not really sure what to do, so here I am, returning for more advice!

Here are some photos of me, they're all shortly after getting my hair cut last year:

(I'm the girl)

(Shortly after my cut last year, excuse the badness of this photo, I was totally sick at the time haha).

(Me in a silly costume, but you get the idea).

And here are some styles I like:

#1
(I'm also wondering, anyone have any idea how this might look from a more straight on view?)

#2
(I *think* that the second pic is how the first pic might look from the front, but please correct me if I'm wrong)

#3

#4

#5

#6

#8

#9
http://www.civetstudios.com/hairfavs/hair09.jpg - http://www.civetstudios.com/hairfavs/hair09.jpg

Which ones do you guys think would be best for me? And are there any I should definitely *not* get?

My major concerns (other than simply not liking a cut haha) are that I don't want to look too boyish or like a guy, with some of these shorter cuts. And also, that I am not entirely certain what my wavy texture will do, as the shortest I've had my hair in the past was about chin length.

Thanks so much for the help!

I like number 1 and 8. You would suit these styles as you have thick wavy hair, and they are both short styles but very feminine shorter styles.

I like #5 and #8 the best. #5 is pretty popular right now, but is a slightly older look (not sure how old you are). Something with more body and style will generally make you look less "boyish", if you're worried about that.

BTW, where's #7? LOL

Do you think my hair would work for #1 fairly easily or do you think it'd require a lot of styling and work everyday? I'm sort of lazy when it comes to styling my hair heh.

What age range do you think #5 is sort of good for? I'm 25, though I know I don't really look it heh.

Oh and good eye LOL . I had a #7 but I ended up deciding it wasn't one of my favorites so I didn't post it.

I'm thinking now also I actually don't mind looking boyish, it might be fun.. I just don't want to straight out look like a guy haha. I haven't really gotten much feedback on style #2 or #3 .
Do people think they would look good on me if I chose to go that short, or should I just stay away from them entirely?

Hi,

Number 1 style would take styling. If its a wash and go style your wanting number 8 would be best.

Ah ok, thanks for the advice.

Do you think I could pull off any of the shorter styles if I decide to shorter? ( #2, #3, or #9?)
