I have been shampoo free for a week and a half.  I have an appointment tomorrow to get a trim.  since I haven't shampooed in over a week, can I ask my stylist to wash me without shampoo and to use conditioner instead?

I'm sure you could. I wash my hair as little as possible, it's usually about once every 2 weeks. I know it sounds gross, but my hair actually looks so much better than when i washed it every single day. I have to shampoo because I use massive amounts of hairspray and dry shampoo that build up on my hair. I can style it so much better, it holds curls and it's been growing like crazy. Shampooing is terrible for your hair!
