Hello. I have these what I call "monkey" sideburns. I cannot find any info on the internet on how to shape them or even any pictures of any to try and follow?
Can anyone help? (I am female)
 
The first stylist to "shape" them cut them off completely and straight. (I thought it looked like a man's style!)  Next person said to grow them out and gel them behind my ears. UGGH! They just look hairy and messy!
 
I often wear my hair down but now that warmer weather is coming I've been putting my hair up.
 
Are "points" still in style for sideburns?
 
Can anyone offer advice, tips, directions or website pics/directions?
What can I do for my horrendous sideburns?
I really appreciate it!
