With some clients, the hair buckles above the attachment site. Why does this happen? Is it due to uneven hair growth or a wave in the hair? The extension hair is not slipping.
Thankx!

Was the client's hair strand twisted when applying the bond? Sometimes when you twist the client's hair to make it easier to attach the bond, it pulls the hair unevenly and the hair will then hang untwisted, giving it that 'buckled" look.
The hair can be twisted to make it easier to slide up a shrinkie or links, but you have to make sure all the client's hair is held straight down & untwisted when actually bonding the strand.
I did this on my first install and noticed the same buckling too. When it grew out, the buckling became much more obvious.
