HELP!
I recently had extensions fused into my hair that were bought at Sally's beauty supply (Satin Strands i-tip extenstions).  After my friend installed the extensions, there were quite a few that I was either unhappy with the placement or where on sensitive areas of my head. I wanted these pieces removed ASAP.

I went to Sally's and all they had to remove them was an oil remover.  When applied , the oil BARELY did anything to the bond, except make it a TINY bit softer after like 10 mins of messing with one single bond.  Still the bond would not slip out or break apart easily at all and was still pulling my own hair. Cry

I even tried to add a bit of acetone directly to the bond to see if it would break it down with absolutely no luck.

There is no contact number for the Satin Strands company anywhere to be found on the package OR online!

Does anyone know of anything that will get these things out without losing my own hair in the process!?!?

hi buabear, you need to put the acetone on the bond and then crunch the bond with a pair of pliers. This should make the bond crumble and slide out easily.
