I had my hair highlighted awhile ago. My hair is naturally a medium brown. It is an all over blonde color though because of too many highlights. I put on a semi to see how I would like it darker, but it just turned a golden blonde. I am wanting to go back to all medium brown, and then I will get highlights (a few of them this time) in a couple of months. My question is if I buy a box of brown permanent hair color, will it turn my hair a bad color? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Why don't just keep getting highlights?It's summer time! I wouldn't want it too dark.I know u want to do sum highlights later,but I think with it blonde already, it would look great with really bright highlights & then sum lowlights.If u want a per. color go to Sally's.Whatever u do, don't get a med. brown.,hair tends to turn darker than the color u want.If u get a med . brown it will be a darker brown.I don't wanna tell u get a dark one.If u really wanna dye it brown, i'd get a light brown.I still think the bright blonde owul look good.:)
