I'm loving this look on her. Several years ago, she had fairly long hair

Then she sported a bob with heavy bangs for quite awhile

and now she has gone for this awesome looking pixie (sorry for the small pictures; couldn't find any large ones)

Wow...this is a tough one. I like long hair with short bangs, am a fan of bobs, and love pixies...She is a winner in all 3

As someone gets older, these extreme pixies do tend to have a rejuvenating affect (even if, really, it's an optical illusion!)

She's 38. I don't think the need for optical illusions has arrived for her yet. We can agree that the scary makeup in the photo with the bob made her look about 60 trying to be 30-something. Yikes!

I like all three as well. The pixie is daring and pays off for her, really works well and it's a nice change.

38 isn't 25 either--it's almost 40. With this look she could be in her late twenties. It's true though that she never seemed to get the best results out of longer hair.

She's not 38, she's 30. Born in 1978, so she's going to be 31 this summer. So that it makes her look about 30 is entirely accurate.

It's a good look, regardless.

I don't remember the last time I posted here. It's been awhile. But I will break my silence here. This look is completely winning and adorable. It always has been, and so it is for Diablo Cody, about whom I really otherwise don't care. But who wants to hear about the things I don't care about? Diablo Cody is the current living definition of fetching. Yes, sir.
