Hi :)

Is there anyone on here who is an expert at mixing eq shades colours? I am after a rich dark brown/almost black but cannot for the life of me figure out which colours i would need to mix to get such a deep brown shade.

Im guessing a dark brown and a black need to be mixed together, but the eq shades black has a blue base.

If someone could point me in the direction of a mixing chart to look at (or purchase) i would greatly appreciate it!!

tia :)

I would not mix another color with black.Only if it's light enough.I'm thinking mix it with a med. brown.Do u want a cool color?

ya, the shades do go on dark....you usually have to mix in some clear gloss.  but to know what formula to give you i have to know if you want a cool or warm base.  i too would not go with the black.  they have dark colors at level 3-4.
