Other than the shape, what is the difference? Are they all the same and it's just a matter of what you prefer?

I tips are intended for ring or shrink ie applications. Typically there isnt enough glue in an I tip to properly install by fusion. The U-tip or V tip for fusion are basically just a matter of preference

Ah, right! Now that you mentioned that about the I-tips, I remember hearing that before. Guess I've been gone for this board for a little too long LOL.
