I know that this depends on the person because everyone's hair is different but I don't know if I should be worried. The only time any of my hair falls out is when I wash it. I can't really tell if it's breakage or shedding. The hairs are kinda long but I have a lot of layers in my hair.
Anyway, it's not a whole lot of hair. My comb isn't filled with hair when I'm done but there is hair lol
I have no idea what my "official" hair type is but my hair is naturally curly and kind of fine. It's not really tight curls either. And I'm biracial (half white half black)
I only apply heat to my hair once a week (blow dry and flat iron with heat protectant and leave in conditioner although I'm going to try to stop blow drying) And I wash my hair every 5-7 days using the organic root stimulator shampoo and the deep penetrating conditioner. I've been using them for about a year and really like them but some people say you shouldn't use the creamy aloe shampoo often because it's a clarifying shampoo. Is that true? It leaves my hair feeling soft but could that be causing the shedding?
Any tips at all? Is some shedding/breakage when you wash hair considered "normal"?
Thanks, I'm just a little worried because I want to make sure my hair is healthy
Edit:would co-washing help?
