It sounds like a product available in the U.K. perhaps? I've not seen it in the states.

It's a product that only loreal salons do:

Thio Technology:
All hair types have the same composition: keratin protein. The thio technology allows the product to change the structure of the hair, penetrating and re-arranging the disulphide bonds. The disulphide bonds are allowed to re-align during the process.

PHASE A:
At the time of the reduction the smoothing cream breaks up to 15% of the disulphide links. It is during this phase that the hair is at its weakest.

PHASE B:
The hair is then smoothed mechanically allowing the keratin chains within to re-align into their new arrangement and the disulphide links to position themselves.

PHASE C:
Fixing.
When the disulphide links have re-aligned themselves they must be fixed into their new position. The ingredients present in the fixing milk enable these links to reform.

When the hair is dried, the internal connections are returned to normal

You can find it at

And once registered (it's free) look at X-Tenso.
