Hi everyone!
For about 5 years I would dye my hair platinum blonde. I decided in November to go back to my natural hair color which is a light brown. I did the right thing and went to a reputable hair dresser who managed to take me to a nice brown without much damage or breakage and my hair is so healthy now. However, my hair continues to fade to an even lighter brown. I go to the hairdresser about once a month and get the color back again but after a few days it looses that dark rich color. I use good color protectant shampoo and products but it still fades. Is there anything I can do or use in between visits?
Thanks!

You could try a color mousse , color shampoo. Is she using Demi or Semi?, You could try those too.

Not really, (unless you go to a beauty supply shop and get the pigment depositing shampoo. Its thick and looks like dark brown paint in the bottle, not like the clear stuff, it just puts a layer of that on top to darken it. If you use it every wash it'll build up and keep you looking brown). I'm in the same boat, I've been having to redo my brown every 2 months. I don't much like the paint shampoo so I'm not using it, just deciding whether I want to redye all those times until the old blonde gets cut off or just letting myself go!
