when you do pretipped fusion strand by strand  is it smart to trim the glue tip a little bit to make the links not as noticable? or is it gonna make the hair not stay in as good?

also i have a question about rolling the hair, is there a certain way to do it?
like if you roll in too hard is it gonna make the glue spread further in and make it like really big and uneven?
please let me know if you have any tips or tutorials on fusion.
I'm having my sister put them in for the first time and none of us have any expierience with this.

also my tips are I shaped I heard that the U or V shaped are better but does is really matter?please

thanks guys

I-tips can absolutely be trimmed so they are not so noticeable, just be sure that you place the entire tip into the micro ring to prevent it from falling out. You should be able to see a small portion of the tip above the tube before closing it.

When rolling the glue, there is no need to press too hard, only to get the glue to attach firmly to your own hair. If the glue is melted down all the way, pressing hair will cause the glue roll to become longer than normal which might make them more noticeable.

I guess it depends on the hair you buy. Some pre-tipped extensions have more glue it seems on the tips than others. If they look think, I wouldn't recommend cutting the tips, but if they are thicker - you should be fine. Now if you're using links or tubes, then yes, cut them down a bit for comfort and looks.
