Hey everyone, first post! I just had my hair coloured today, because I fancied going blonde!

I went down to the hair salon, which has a good reputation, clutching my phone which had a photo of a guy with the colour that I wanted. That should make it pretty easy, right? The colour got done and I wasn't 100% sure. Then the guy did the best cut I've ever had and made me feel better about the colour, so I didn't mention it.

Now I've got home, I know that it isn't what I asked for or what I showed the guy. It is nice, but not what I want. I would like your opinions as to whether I should go back and ask for it to be redone for free - I have included photos of both my current colour and the photo I showed to the person who coloured my hair. Do you think that it is, as the girl said, what I asked for or am I justified in asking for it to be redone.

Can I have your opinions on what you think I should do, please? Oh, and what do you think of the actual colour? ;) Thanks in advance!!

Sorry about the links, I couldn't get proper hyperlinks working :(

Thanks again!

Sorry Cress, can not see your actual photo, so can not really comment on your colour. The first photo looks like a golden blonde. What would you say the colour you ended up with.

You could go back and let the salon know your not happy with the final results(colour), but whether they will fix it free, I don't know. If you feel its only needing a little lighter, there is a shampoo, called  Schwartzkopf silver shampoo, its violet in colour and after a few uses this will brighten your blonde. You can buy it at Sally's/salon services for about £7.50 ish. You could also maybe see if you can purchase this shampoo on line.

I hope this helps a little.

Karen
