Hello,
I am a licensed cosmetologist, but have never worked in a salon. (stay at home mommy). I currently have 5n low lights 75% of my hair and the other 25% is bleached highlights. I am interested in getting a shades eq color to darken my highlights some for the Fall and Winter. I was looking at Caramel, but that is a level 5 also, so didn't know if I should go lighter that level 5. I would like a noticeable difference in my lowligts and high lights. Any advice on what color I should use, do not want a red look???

What about the 06 GB or 07 GB. How Dark did you wish the highlights to be? are they toned any?

No they are  not toned. I would like them to be like a carmel brown but did not know if that would be to dark. I would still like to be able to see a noticeable difference in the low lights and highlights.

shades goes on dark....be sure to cut it with the clear.....if you don't cut it with clear you are going to have to go to a level 7.....i have to users book on shades....they are meant to cut with the clear, of course equal amounts of activator....they have beautiful colors.  good luck.  but remember SHADES GO ON REALLY DARK....and i don't mean maybe...Smile
