I have been dyeing my hair red for the last year. I am normaly a light brown color. Well, a month ago, I decided to change it to black with blond highlights. My husband did it for me at home and it looks trashy! I have also noticed that it appears that I am starting to thin out! This concerns me because I really want to fix my color, but I do not want to lose anymore hair! Please help!

Embarrassed Maybe go to a pro & see how they can nurse your hair back into condition gently?

If you haven't changed your diet are you having a reaction to the products?
What is he using on your hair?

He has been using Loreal. I figured that was probibly what I was going to have to do, Just can't afford it right now. Guess I will deal with it for awhile. Plus, I haven't found anyone around here yet I trust to fix it. I will probably lookaround and see if I can find someone that is real good with color.

Usually Red-Orange Demi, Then a Warm Brown Demi  would be used to fill lightened hair.

Since Feria was used, try a strand test if you feel your hair is in ok condition to do so. Make sure scalp is healthy, do a patch test.  Maybe try another brand. (NOT feria, NOT permanent).  If Iron your hair maybe try to dry natural & deep condition treatments.  The demi is for midlengths ends (not necessarily your regrowth).

Google feria dye & tintbacks too for ideas.Embarrassed
