hi there. i need some help with removing current my hair color.

i've had blue highlights (bleached) & some purple ones too (but they seem to be gone by now) for about 2 months. i don't quite fancy how my hair looks now, so i'm wanting to go back to my natural hair color - i.e. black.

i'm wondering if i could just use black hair dye to cover it up? i'm waiting for my hair technician friend to get back to me, but i reckon it'll take too damn long......

I am having a similar problem. My hair was dyed black. I stripped the black with Loreal color remover and bleached it white blonde at the roots to prep it for the semi permanent Special Effects dye. It is a bright pink (my signature color) now but I am tired of the upkeep. If you want to add the color back that's pretty easy over the bleached hair and even the unbleached parts. You can buy a dye like Special Effects or Manic Panic and apply it to either the streaks or your whole head. It will wash over over a few weeks. I find SE (http://www.amphigory.com/special_effects_hairdye.html) lasts longer. My friend's mom is a hair dresser and she reccomemded I use a protein color filler in addition to the black dye and 10 volume developer I purchased from Sally's. I got all the stuff I need and I'm planning on trying it out tonight so I can let you know how that works out.
