It seems that plasic surgery is becoming more popular but the hot ticket is the "nonsurgical" type of treatments. 

 

Rachel Ray actually talked about it and InStyle featured someone who had the "nonsurgical nose job" which supposedly utilized Radiesse which is injected to recontour the nose.

 

InStyle interviewed Dr. Cameron Rokhsar, MD who injected the Radiesse into a patient.  According to Instyle theentire process takes 15 minutes and lasts for a year. 

 

The cost was quoted as being in the $1,500 range.

 

Has anyone had this type of procedure?  How much does it really cost, does it really only take 15 minutes and how long does it really last?

 

I know someone who had injections into her lips to make them plumper and she has constant problems with her lips peeling and itching. 

 

Even though her lips returned to her normal size, 3 years later they still peel and they still itch.

 

I am wondering if Radiesse injected into the nose will cause the same peeling on the nose? 

 

Also, does the nose return to the same contour after the Radiesse wears off?

 

Finally, is Radiesse the only injectable they use?  Do they use other options?
