Just caught an episode of Bonnie Hunt from last Friday.  She often has someone come on the show and show off dogs that need to be adopted.
 
Bonnie had a guest from a shelter come onto the show and Lily Tomlin was there as well.
 
It was pointed out during this segment of the show that black dogs left in shelters are more likely to be euthanized than dogs of other colors.  So sad.
 
I didn't know that before.  Did you?
 
I heard that black cats don't get easily adopted but I didn't know it was the same with dogs.
