OK, I have seen the commercials saying that coloring hair can be good for your hair, is this true?
My wife doesn't want to color her hair because she says it is bad for the hair. I'm not talking about changing color just covering the gray with the same color her hair is now.
Any thoughts?

Any chemical process can damage the hair, however using a semi hair colour causes minimal if any damage. I guess its your wife's choice what she does with her hair colour.

Different dyes have varying degrees of damage. I don't believe anything is healthier than virgin hair.
Congrats to your wife if she wants to embrace her silvers!
