hey guys so last year i purchased a jessica simpson hair do light blonde basically golden platinumy 613 color.

however i have recently colored my hair and it is now a much darker dirtyblond.

question i spent a fair whack on it. it seems a shame to have to buy another one. is there an easy way to color it a bit darker? could i try it myself or take it to a salon?
it does say that they can be dyed - it is 100 per cent human hairConfused

grateful for any advice!

If it's 100% human, and you want it darker, you can definitely dye it. I'd suggest taking it to the salon who dyed your hair and they'll use the same colour so it will match.

I tried dying my platinum blonde extensions auburn (when I went back natural) and they turned out purple. If they were expensive I do not suggest.

hey kirsty!
did you die the extensions yet?

i searched online a few weeks ago for this exact question. I didnt find much at all. I have the human hairdo extensions as well and decided to change my hair color (i have the chestnut brown ones). Well i bought from Walgreens the Natural Instincts semi permanent medium brown hair color and did my head first, liked the results, then bought another box to do the extensions.
The extensions took the color very well, a little darker then my actual hair (i believe its because i color my hair often and the extensions have never been colored. The only issue i had was a few spots that i missed. I took my time but still managed to miss a few strands somehow so if you do decide to color at home, take your time and make sure u saturate all of the hair. I bought the paint brush and bowl for the color and it helped a lot to apply the color. if any thing comes out to dark you can shampoo it with a clarifying shampoo and it will help to remove the tones. if i were to do it again, i would do a strand test to see how long i should process the color for the end result that i want.

hope this helps! im not a hair stylist but i always mess around with the extensions at home, hope you make the color work
let me know, Ali xo
