 Hii everyone

Well to start off im in high school and i had cancer twice, im fine now but my Hair is very thin.
I was wearing a wig to go to school and im ready to stop wearing the wig. Is there anything helpful I can do?
Its short and not feeling out.. P.S someone told me I should shave it and start over without the wig?!
PLEASE HELP!
