I was wondering how long does it takes to grow 25 length of hair because I want to give at least 2 10 inches of hair. I was wondering if is also going to be waist length or close to waist length.

I think the average growth rate is .5 - 1 inch per month. So if your average then it would take at least 2 years or more. You might be faster than average though. Try measuring how much you grow per month and then you can figure it out from there.
 
As for where it will land on your body, it depends on your height and proportions. Take a measuring tape and measure from your head and down your body.
